There is a new American animated series that premiered in PBS Channel on September 2009. This new show intended for the young audiences, is a creation of Craig Bartlett, who is also the creator of Hey Arnold! a Nickelodeon TV series. The Jim Henson Company is the producer of this new show. Currently, the show has 40 episodes for Season 1 and Season 2 is in the process of being developed.

In Dinosaur Train, the prehistoric world of dinosaurs is shown through the eyes of Buddy, the main character of the show. Buddy is a preschool-age T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex), who is adopted by a Pteranodon family when he was still a newly-hatched egg. This young T-Rex starts his adventure of learning about the different species of dinosaurs when he found out that he is of a different species, not like his family. His questions and a deep sense of curiosity about the different kinds of dinosaurs are answered as he sets foot on the Dinosaur Train.

Buddy, aboard the Dinosaur Train, goes through a Time Tunnel, enabling him and the other passengers to visit the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous worlds.

The Dinosaur Train is a one-of-a kind educational show that is child-friendly and very informative. The show gives their young audiences the opportunity to learn and satisfy their young minds about everything there is to know about the dinosaur era.

The dinosaur train toy is a special vehicle. It can carry all kinds of dinosaurs. The ones with long necks can stick them out of the windows that are designed specifically for that purpose. There is even water for the ones who live in seas or rivers. The ones who created the train are the Troodons who are thought to be the smartest among the dinosaurs. In addition, these dinosaurs have perfect claws in order to punch the tickets with them. The dinosaur train is a great vehicle because it can cross seas and all kinds of terrains. It carries the dinosaurs around the whole world even underwater where they find their prehistoric siblings.
