Another One Bites the Dust, Hey-Hey!

Fox and Friend

Another one bites the dust/Huh-OWWWW!! [/St. Freddie M.]

Bitches, it’s like Christmas every goddamn day around here.

Fox News Channel, tinkering for the first time in eight years with its popular early evening lineup, is replacing its 5 p.m. news broadcast, “The Big Story,” with an election-theme program for the foreseeable future. The network confirmed this week that “America’s Election HQ,” a program that displaced “The Big Story” temporarily last month, would continue indefinitely. The program’s hosts, Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, also anchor the network’s mid-morning newscast and are seen as rising stars on the channel. The change was first reported by the blog TVNewser.com. John Gibson, the longtime host of “The Big Story,” will continue to have a role on television, the network said, although it appears that his future for now lies mostly on radio.

Well, he’s one up on Misnomer Morganism. She can’t even hold down a job in the fetid sewers of AM talk. And that’s just pitiful. I could teach Juan Carlos to vomit hairballs on cue and get him a job in talk radio, as long as I claimed they were Conservative hairballs. The bar is surely not very high in a field that boasts such stellar “talents” as Mikey the Savage Wiener and everybody’s favorite talking pilonidal cyst, Uncle Rush Touched Me.

But back to Johnny the Hair:

For two years Mr. Gibson, a conservative commentator, has been the host of a three-hour program for Fox News Radio immediately following his television show.

Enabling him to do something even the most talented gay porn stars can’t do, which is to suck without stopping for four hours every day.

Fox News Channel, the top-rated cable news network, has benefited in recent years from a stable programming schedule, while CNN and MSNBC have made multiple on-camera changes. The programming shift underscores the emphasis placed on election-year programming by the cable news networks.

Actually, it’s illustrative of the fact that the Pox News Cargo Cult is either dying off in waves (they are all 90 years old, after all), that Heath Ledger’s ghost is having a laugh at Gibson’s expense, or just that the wheels are totally coming off the Right Wing Propaganda Machine.

In the last six months, we’ve seen:

1. Michelle Malkin fired from “The O’Reilly Factor”.

2. Ann Coulter’s book sales tanking and her credit cards getting declined by Publix.

3. Melamine Misstatement fired from her job.

4. Tucker Carlson tossed out on his amply padded backside.

5. And now Jumpin’ John Gibson being taken away to be rendered into fat for cheap tallow candles for The Poor or whatever.

Some people may call this an unrelated chain of business-related layoffs, or Conservative Media’s flailing efforts to adapt to the times. Me, I just see it as Progress.

Limbaugh and O’Reilly are next. Hannity, too. It will be a beautiful day when all these bloviating turds have to suck dicks in a bus station bathroom for change. Tick…tick…tick…

Mercy sakes, you do have a way with a verbal picture, T! These so-called people are like cockroaches, they never really go away, just scurry into the dark recesses waiting for another chance.

*note to self* Do not open this blog tomorrow till the kiddos are off to school. I really don’t want to have to explain that picture!

Hey e! Yes, it is wall to wall everywhere, I can only imagine what it must be like in NY. With Vitter it was everywhere. Strangely, there was no demands that he step down, or that he had let down his constituents. And evidently the little diaper dandy is now saying that his case and Spitzer’s are completely different. Let’s see: hookers, check. cheating husbands, check. wronged wives at the podium, check. I can’t for the life of me figure out exactly what the difference is between Vitter and Spitzer. I’ll ponder on it, maybe it will come to me.

It’s actually quite simple to understand. Ask yourself the following question:

“Would DOJ have devoted any resources to following up on those Suspicious Activity Reports if Spitzer was a Republican?”

I respectfully submit that we all know the answer to that question.

Okay, you probably all heard this on KO tonight, but it is a classic that should be re-told for a generation:

David Patterson, who will soon take over for Eliot Spitzer as Gov. on NY had a press conference today, and a reporter asked him, “so that NYers won’t ever have to live through this again, let’s get this out of the way: Have you ever patronized a prostitute?”

    His reply: “Only the lobbyists.”

You gotta admire a guy like that.

yeah, I liked that too. God bless him….maybe this disgusting mess WILL turn out for the best after all. Because, for all his other endearing qualities of hypocrisy and whore fucking, Spitzer WAS something of a bullying vindictive asshole who was despised even by those in his own party. From what I’ve heard of Patterson so far, he’s the opposite.

Just posted on HuffPo. I love to watch thieves falling out.

The former treasurer for the National Republican Congressional Committee diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars — and possibly as much as $1 million — of the organization’s funds into his personal accounts, GOP officials said yesterday, describing an alleged scheme that could become one of the largest political frauds in recent history.

For at least four years, Christopher J. Ward, who is under investigation by the FBI, allegedly used wire transfers to funnel money out of NRCC coffers and into other political committee accounts he controlled as treasurer, NRCC leaders and lawyers said in their first public statement since they turned the matter over to the FBI six weeks ago.

Hanging in. The little guy kicked a classmate today. A girl. Which resulted in time-out and a yellow dot on the behavior calendar. He’s not saying what happened, only that the girl in question was not happy with him (imagine!). Both times he’s gotten in trouble for being physical it has been altercations with teensy little girls. Ugh!

Sorry to giggle - but it brings back a memory! My middle son was on his second day at preschool (I only took my kids there a couple of times a week because I was a stay at home mom with some part time work for myself consulting on the side) - when I went to pick him up, he was in trouble, in time out, because he had bitten somebody. He wasn’t a biter, in fact he was a fairly placid easygoing boy. On the way home I asked him why he had bitten “name” - his answer, the part that made me chuckle at this point in your story — because he wouldn’t do what I wanted him to do. He said that very solemnly and matter of factly… I couldn’t laugh, but I wanted to!!! ;)

now back to catching up on the thread :)

” Bush heard tales of all-night tea drinking sessions to coax local residents into cooperating, and of tribesmen crossing mountains to attend government meetings seen as building blocks for the country’s democracy-in-the-making.
