Amato Rocks the House In

amato on countdown!

A very special friend of the TReehouse was on Countdown last night.  Did you watch?  John did a fantastic job in spite of the fact that he was standing in the middle of bedlam and getting jostled from every side.  Yay, bloggers in teh hizzouse!!

Is it me or does he look kind of hot in the clip?  With his hair a little longer, John’s kind of starting to get a little Kurt Russell thing going on, doncha think?

I have it TiVo’d to watch tonight! I could only manage to get through the first Countdown and Special Comment (wow, as usual).

G’morning TRex and the Rexxies. Lots of snow here this morning!

That was the first time that I have seen him on TV. Jane said that he was very nervous about doing the show..he was great, Josh was OK, Arianna not so good. John really added “energy” to the “blogger segment”. I hope Keith is going to have more bloggers on his show..John is a lot better than Mr. Wolfe or especially Dana.

Morning T, morning all. Driving by on my way out the door; it’s pouring down rain here and hovering right at 32F, so no ice.

It was so great to see Keith showcasing John and Josh last night! What is it that TSF sometimes says? “The dawn of a new paradigm” or something like that. Anyway, it was most welcome. See y’all later…

I am at the beginning of an extended political debate with my son, daughter, and ex-husband (all of us fairly progressive). We’ve agreed that we’ll keep it positive and not take anything personally (my daughter tends to do that sometimes).

Anyway, in a Google search to augment a point I was making, I ran across this website, Project for the OLD American Century, and I thought I’d make the Rexxies aware of it. I had never heard of it:

I find it INTERESTING, Ariana, Josh And John were the bloggers of choice for Keith’s Show.

And, I think they did as best they could, and well, Keith DID toss them the Iraq Question. Which NO other media source has raised, and I think all three ran off good answers, with soft snark, as best as they could.

Iraq SHOULD be the end run game for any decision making.

This admin CREATED the Iraq War, which has been the cause of us having killed One Million of them, displaced an equal or greater amount (maybe greater by far), broken our economy, splintered our country, reduced our freedoms, abused and negated our constitution and House And Senate, given rise to an Executive And Unitary Presidency, butchered Habeus, and in general put HUGE BILLIONS of dollars into the hands of the 1%, and wasted more billions on lost weapons and suitcases of money.

Any candidate running for President should be held accountable for any previous contributions to our ruin, and be made to explain how the hell they intend to pull us OUT of this ruination.

Good score, TRex, I hadn’t gotten to that. It WAS fun to watch!

Ya know, TRex, John was my date New Years Eve at Mark Kleiman’s party, and he actually cleaned up nice!

This story sounds convincingly! I agree with you in this case.
