She’s Not Even Trying Anymore, Is She?

malkin’s true colors

Well, since she got herself eliminated from the Conservative mainstream by stalking a disabled 12-year-old and his family, it appears too much time at home is doing strange things to Michelle Malkin’s mind. Last week, the voices in her head were apparently telling her that George Soros is backing the McCain campaign.

No, really:

I’m not kidding. She is actually saying that. It is all very complicated, and the Detailed Research Proof involves Ed Morrisey and then Discover the Networks, and frantic Googling, and the Trilateral Commission and Liberal Fascism and Otto von Bismarck and Worf and sinister Hobbits and Pop Rocks and shit.

You know, as messed up as the Dems are this cycle, I’m going to go ahead and declare that, as always, the real crazy fun is over on the other side. Malkin quite clearly wants McCain dead, his family dead, his house burned to the ground, etc. It’s going to be hard to back off from that sort of kookiness — not that I don’t think they’re fully capable of such gymnastics.

And why does Michelle Malkin hate John McCain soooo much that she’s willing to tar him with an association to the Great Wingnut Satan, George Soros? Because McCain announced from his perch within the Republican party that the Right Wing’s hateful, xenophobic, Round ‘Em Up and Throw ‘Em Out approach to immigration might have potentially negative consequences for the economy, then went on to back President Bush’s immigration bill, which Malkin (with her usual flair for piss-weak neologisms) has dubbed, “The Shamnesty Bill”.

McCain’s victory in Florida tonight probably has Michelle chewing the furniture and going out in the yard to throw dishes at her neighbors from Ecuador. I still fail to grasp why Malkin hates immigrants so goddamn bad. Perhaps it is a resentment against her Filipino immigrant parents who became American citizens when they came to the US and “downloaded” their little Anchor Baby, Michelle.

Well, brown-skinned people aren’t the only Americans Michelle hates. She hates poor people, too, as is evinced by her message to the people all over America who are being kicked out of their homes thanks to shady lending practices:

suck this, michelle

Ah, yes. What a hateful cooze she is. She’s got her pile of money by playing the role of Racist Demagogue of Color and meretriciously representing the interests of the absolute dregs of American society. She’s got enough blood money to ride out whatever happens, so anyone who doesn’t have enough money to make it in the worsening economy can, as far as she’s concerned, live on the streets until they starve, freeze, or die from lack of health care.

The House will vote later today on its borrow-and-spend rebate deal. The Senate is pushing the inevitable lard-up. Democrats and Republicans alike want an extension on federal unemployment benefits. Regular state unemployment insurance covers 26 weeks.

Several GOP senators backed the proposal to extend unemployment payments for 13 weeks for those whose benefits have run out, with 26 more weeks available in states with the highest jobless rates…

“Many of these additions have bipartisan support, and I hope that the president will recognize that the White House needs to negotiate with the Senate as well as the House,” said Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, who backs both the rebates for seniors and the unemployment extension.

Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, a Finance Committee member, called the unemployment extension “critical” and said she supported ensuring that the rebates reached the elderly.

A program intended to be a safety net has become an excuse for people to remain unemployed once they lose a job by discouraging job search activities until benefits are almost exhausted.

You hear that? If you’re out of work and collecting unemployment, you are a parasite on Michelle Malkin’s America. Obviously, if you don’t have a job, you must not want one.

Malkin is just an infectious microbe carrying the disease of Right Wing thought, though. She is merely an exemplar of the fact that when it comes to the milk of human kindness, Conservatives have gone completely dry at the tit. There isn’t a single significant Republican party initiative that isn’t founded on hate, sadistic cruelty, or selfishness, and La MalKKKin is their poster girl, a tapeworm in the body politic, an opportunistic infection of the discourse.

Fortunately, since she is completely without self-awareness or shame of any kind, she will continue to fake her back-arching rage-gasms (thanks, TBogg!) for our entertainment and since she has to go to further and further links of absurdity (I mean, really, McCain in bed with SOROS?!), she will alienate all but the most pig ignorant and sophomoric of her readers.

Maybe some of them will even come to their senses and become Democrats. Thanks, Michelle! You’re such a giver.

Malkkkin should move to Virginia (as much as I’d hate to be her neighbor) and cozy up with State Sen. Ken Cuccinelli, who is trying to advance legislation making it illegal for employees to speak anything other than English at work. They’d be a perfect pairing of brown-haters.

Yes, and she enjoyed school. But had to unpack and re-pack half her stuff because she can not possibly wear ANY of the same clothes on the second day of school that she wore on the first day. They were supposed to be in the new apt on Sunday night but looks like it won’t be until Thursday or Friday.

Ummm….probably. I have a colleague whose daughter won’t wear the same thing or even the same COLOR without a couple of weeks in between. So she complains that she doesn’t have enough clothes, and he says, “Get real!”

Nah, my ex had several suits, shirts and ties, and he rotated them. And he insisted that you shouldn’t wear the same shoes two days running because they needed to dry out in between wearings.

I went through what I jokingly call my “Nancy Regan” period in which each dress had matching shoes (2-3 inch heels)and purse, long gloves completed formal dress, and a lot of other rot. At some period I trashed that image. Now comfortable shoes (nothing with heels anymore), mostly slacks and tops. Luckily my job doesn’t require daily dressup.
I changed when I decided people at church were more interested in clothes than people and I decided that I would dress down so new people would feel more comfortable. Some Sundays it is even jeans.

Sharonlee, its unusual for me not to have something to chatter about. I’m liking the TReehouse too. I sometimes still lurk at FDL but I find it confusing now because there’s no ‘quote’ option. Because it’s day here I’m in and out, I write a comment, go and do something and come back, read the comments since I left, make comments, go and do something useful. I can’t do that at the Lake anymore. The first comment I’d read would be “I couldn’t agree more” and then scroll up to find out what they’re agreeing with. By that time the conversation has moved on down the road.

The TReehouse is perfect - great company but not sooo many that you get lost in the crowd. It’s a special thing to find a place where you’re accepted and supported, even if you do talk funny.

That’s an interesting combo. We think we’re exposed to a lot of American accents because we see a lot of US TV shows but very few of the characters have regional accents. So, when I hear somebody in an interview or news item with a strong regional accent, it throws me.

    G’day Trexanistas,
I like the idea of percieved cyber accent. Given that I have a mongerel Oz accent myself(Adelaide-born, but Chicago, Edinburgh & London before I was 9 - in fact there are recordings of me sent home to the Grandparents, telling the same story (3 Billygoats Gruff) with 4 different accents!), I find myself shifting with exposure. Mind you it is weird getting back on QF002 ex LA and hearing how broad the Oz accent sounds after a week in Chicago or Toronto. L&CD

Speaking of “not even trying anymore…..”

When you have to start Photoshopping your political opponents’ heads on Klansmen’s robes, you’ve admitted you don’t really have an argument.

For instance, claiming that someone “hates immigrants” simply because they think immigration law should be enforced is pretty childish, don’t you think?

Almost as childish as Photoshopping heads on Klansmen.

Did you know every nation in the world has laws against illegal immigration? You can look it up. Does this mean that every nation in the world hates immigrants?

And it’s childish to believe that just because someone doesn’t believe in extending unemployment benefits ad infinitum that they therefore want people to “live on the streets” and either “starve” or “freeze to death.” Misplaced “compassion” such as yours is slowly grinding Europe into the ground.

It seems your political sensibilities have been stuck at the cartoon level. Time to grow up, son.
