Oh, god help us all, she’s here.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin implored Georgia Republicans to back Sen. Saxby Chambliss in his hotly contested Senate runoff, telling a cheering crowd Monday that the first step in rebuilding the GOP begins with the Southern state. The former vice presidential candidate made her first campaign appearance since the Republican ticket of John McCain and Palin lost on Nov. 4.

I bet they spent all last week nailing merchandise to the shelves and floors at the Atlanta Neiman-Marcus to keep it out of the hands of the Hillbilly-from-Wasilla contingent.  I’m picturing a phalanx of impeccably coiffed salesladies hissing like cats and body-blocking racks of Dior separates.  Maybe wearing crucifixes and strings of garlic around their necks.

I can only hope that Governor Hockey Twat does for Saxby’s chances exactly what she did for John McCain’s.  And then takes herself and her horrible, horrible voice back to the blasted tundra that spawned her.  Take it home, you jumped up trailer trash.  We’ve got enough of that going on here as it is.

    Hiya Trex!
    I’m hoping she sinks his boat too. She is the Repubs own Frankenstein monster. They created her and now they cannot figure out a way to get rid of her. The men of the Repub party want their power back, but Palin is not having any of it. I suspect that she will be wreaking havoc all over them for some time to come. And providing the rest of us with plenty of laughs.

    By the way, I read you everyday. I loved your writing when you were at FDL and I am still a fan.
