I watched this here and over at TPM, plus I saw the monkey guy portion earlier this week when it hit the news -
They are all that you said plus scary, very scary. I so don’t want any of these people as neighbors.
I live in Reno, Nevada, and THANKFULLY Nevada is Turning Blue!!! And yes, I have noticed the difference. Rural Nevada, though? Don’t know about them. Change will come, but slowly.

What a shame that newspeople from all over the world are here in the States, right now, covering our big election. They film people like this, too, which makes me hope and pray they also film some normal, thinking human beings–I mean, what must the world think?
Please, world, we’re not all like that. These life forms are an aberration, that’s all. Ugly white people with tiny hearts and even tinier minds. Thankfully, as my self-described “half-breed” pal Minstrel Boy likes to say about all the beautiful, smart hybrid vigor going on in America: “We’re fucking these yahoos into obscurity.”

The dregs of humanity that are showing up at the Palin /McCain Rallies is the direct result of the now 30-ish year long project seriously called: “The Dumbing Down of America.” [No kidding. Google it.]
Through GOP-led initiatives since the 70’s all over the country (but finding the most success in rural areas) of stripping tax-based public school funding, what we end up with are people like this, who don’t know world/political history, who can’t recognize the signs of fascism, and who cannot understand what their own economic best interest is, even when they themselves have trouble paying the bills.
What they do is find comfort in falling into a behavior of trying to find approval with an authoritarian culture. This has replaced higher education as a goal. [Historically, an outcome of WWII, college education was one of the highest priorities in America. If one of your parents lived through WWII, you can attest to the importance they placed on going to college. In our household, college/university was considered to be a worthy endeavor to work toward.]
The result of The Dumbing Down of America is sad. Life is short, and these people have chosen spend theirs re-enforcing the authority of a false leadership that would sooner throw them under a bus for any convenient reason, than actually act in their best interest. In their world, a higher education (how the world came to be where it is, and how one person can make their way in it on a professional level) is “elitist” and scornful.
A lot of these people shown in the video border on psychotically violent, and some actually cross the line to true psychosis It is impossible to know before any damage is done which are which.
All I can say is that here is a special level in hell waiting for those who designed The Dumbing Down of America and who helped it at every turn. TDDoA has turned potential humanity into animals, befitting Orwell.
If this keeps up, George Orwell could become another prophet-saint.

imho
it seems to be fairly standard that around 25% of a population want and benefit from dictatorial regimes.
in Romania before cecescu was dealt to by the locals(and very rudely too) 1 person in four was reporting to the state security on the conversations activities and social connections of the other three.
the sattelite states of the soviet regime had about the same ratio.
in the South American dictatorships around a quarter of the population supported and benefitted.
don’t know about Africa or the islamic govts.
(this is just my theory)
when the authoritarian quarter gain a way to lever themselves into power they make the lives of everybody that doesn’t agree with them or is not part of their group,utterly miserable.
where they can’t get hold of the power to rule others lives things tend to chug along bit by bit getting better(doesn’t really matter what system is used,if the people running it are good hearted,competent and trying to do their best in the job)
i suppose it boils down to
don’t let the bastards grind you down.

They can’t overcome their little lizard brains that makes them scared and so damned ugly as they fear anyone or anything different. They find comfort in Right-wing authoritarianism. Obama is not one of them. He is different. (Thank God).
Our only hope is that this election causes the lizard brained males to become impotent in their rage and fear that they are all unable to breed.
We could always tell them saltpeter will protect them from the black helicopters. That should do the trick.
