   This was a classic confrontation! I loved it!

   I’ve been listening to Rachel since she had her first show on Air American with Chuck D, so I knew she was gonna tear David Frum a new one…and she didn’t disappoint.

   I lurve me some Rachel. Beautiful, smart, and able to go toe to toe with morons like Frum. This was swee-eeet.

   ahh, love ya, Trex but Rachel M. drinking David F.’s milkshake is an image I want out of my head. [No doubt this has something to do with nicotine withdrawal (maybe sucking a milkshake through a straw => pulling a drag on a menthol cig?) Of course, for then next couple of weeks, everything will point to tobacco. Good luck!).]

   Frum was a total asshat. There is in no way a comparison between the roaring hate mobs stirred up by McCain/Palin and Rachel’s show. Hell, she can even stomach Pat Buchanan… that’s more than I could do!

   She handled it with pure class and professionalism. She’s a much better person than I am.

   Maybe her “fake Uncle Pat” will have a few words with Frum, after all, he knows that Rachel is fair to those with differing views.

   Can’t watch the odious Frum without thinking ‘here is an Excess of Weasels’…

   He is waking in a new world where liberals actually engage the whole conservative line, where they laugh at the idiocies. Frum, who I first noticed as NPR’s “right wing voice” (and was there the cause of many bouts of cursing at the radio and erratic driving “uhh Dadd..calm down, it’s just the radio..”) has not had real engagement until recently. His self amusement has worn thin.
   Maddow made him look like the chump he is.
   And the links to Frum @ National Review (thanx Bil) show him to be thinskinned and whiny, and dependent on the likes of Paul Freaking Wolfowitz, for Dog’s sake….She destroyed him. I can watch this again and again.

   David Frum, a large grouper from the NRO aquarium, ahem’ed importantly at his invitation to go on Rachel Maddow’s show, and took the bait, thinking he would school this slip of a girl with the ooze of his moral superiority.

   He flopped himself onto the dock to confront the lass, thinking his merest word of disdain would wither her, cruel perhaps, but necessary. Then lazily return to the “good show, old man” and huzzahs of the NRO tank.

   But this was Rachel’s dock, you see, and she was unmoved by his attack. She simply gaffed him and expertly swung his carcass onto the work table for cleaning. He was stunned and motionless at this prospect, but when she left to fetch the boning knife he flopped himself back into the water, wondering how he had floated into such a trap.

   Back in the NRO tank, he harrumphed that he really showed her, eh? To which the other groupers said eh? as they swam aimlessly in their safe but shrinking tank, thinking that perhaps venturing out into reality is not prudent in these strange times.
